My professional journey has spanned both private and public sectors, covering key roles in Planning Policy and Development Management. Prior to relocating to Jersey, I was an Associate Director at RPS, a renowned global planning consultancy. My tenure in Jersey began with a year at the Government of Jersey's Planning Department, followed by two enriching years at a small, yet thriving local planning consultancy. Today, these cumulative experiences are the cornerstone of my own venture, Island Planning.
I have a proven track-record in securing planning permissions for small to very large residential schemes, offices, commercial, tourism, healthcare, student accommodation, and heritage projects, within urban, rural, and National Park settings. On the other side I’ve successfully helped people oppose development that threatens their interests. Surprisingly, I find a unique satisfaction in navigating the complexities of planning appeals and the intricacies of legal debates.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy staying active and connected to nature. Kitesurfing, kayaking, sailing, paragliding, cycling, and walking with my dog on the beach are some of the activities that keep me refreshed and inspired.
